Despite the hotel's allure, many rooms show signs of neglect—the carpets are bunched up, the sinks are cracking, and some shower fixtures are straight from the past. I faced issues with noise from the hallway and pool area, which made for a less-than-peaceful stay. the elevators seemed to struggle, causing delays when trying to access higher floors. After multiple checks for room proximity to family, we ended up scattered across floors, which played havoc with our plans.

I experienced a wonderful mineral bath and a deep muscle massage during my stay. The staff made the visit enjoyable, which I appreciated as I navigated the historic charm of the place. I found it refreshing to unwind after exploring.

The room was smaller than expected, and there wasn't enough space for my toiletries. I plan to bring my own pillows next time for comfort.
